CHRISTMAS OUTING TO SKI IN EDINBURGH

Our Christmas Outing to the Outdoor Ski Slopes at Hillend Edinburgh was a great success......

We were lucky that the weather was good and most guides managed to get onto the Tows after their one hour lesson.  There were a few bumps and bruises but everyone had a great time..

Congratulations to Sunita, Eleanor, Evie, Millie, Amber, Gabrielle, Lucy, Lauren, Jessica, Samantha and Julianna who made their promise on the ski slopes...

See the photos!

BADGES

Last month we were all tested for the various badges we have been working on this term.....guides doing Survival and Music Zone still have to bring a few things to complete all their clauses before they will get their badges!

Guides working on Survival badge survived the dark and rain when they cooked a meal on an open fire without using utensils..

SUMMER CAMP AT CRIEFF

We had our Summer Camp for 5 nights at Monzie near Crieff this year - we had a great time but the weather could have been a lot kinder!

Well done to the Swashbucklers who won the best Patrol Award, to Heather S & Claudia M who won the Camp Challenges and Sally K who won the best Camper Award.

The Scallywag Patrol dressed the best Pirate teddy and had the best Raft for the Race on Sunday!

We all LOVED the White Water rafting at Grandtully, more photos like the one below coming very soon..

CHANGE THE WORLD

WELL DONE to everyone who worked hard for our Fundraising Night for Change the World night.

The Bullfinch Patrol made the most for CAMFED by raising £100.51!!  The Canaries were next with £71 and Chaffinches made £13 also for CAMFED....

Kingfishers raised £35 for ISLAND CAFE, Robins supported ASTHMA by raising £27, Nightingales supported MENTAL HEALTH by raising £41 and the Swallows and various other Stalls gave over £100 to PLAN!

We had games, food, drink, nail painting, guess the name & birthday of the Teddy, sweets in the jar, the weight of the cake, a Tombola and book stall, a few Quizzes, tea & coffee and sold jewellery and books.

It seemed like the whole of Bridge of Allan turned out to spend their money, so a great result and THANK YOU to everyone who supported us......
